I am up for a mitral valve repair on October 5. My surgeon is 95% sure that the repair is possible, but has strongly advised the mechanical in the event he needs to replace, since his experience with tissue valves is maybe 10-15 years, and I am 63.

Thank you all..for your input!! I have been postponed for surgery due to me getting all my ducks in a row Insurance wise! Don't want to foot all the bill if I don't have too! Will let you know when it will happen!! Hugs and Loves H
