Hey all, just joined, getting surgery on Monday to replace my ascending aortic aneurysm and hopefully repair my bicuspid valve. I am opting for the Inspiris Resilia if repair fails, has anyone else gotten that valve at a younger age (I'm 37)?

If they place resilia Hopefully that valve gives you 15-25! Blessings bro!

Hopefully you can be repaired! I had the same procedure at age 63, so I went with a tissue valve. Repair was not an option for me at the time since I wasn't willing to travel for surgery. I love my Lexapro also!

Marie,what is Lexapro?

It is an antidepressant which also helps with anxiety. I went on it about 3 years ago when my 105 yo mother in law pushed me over the edge. She is now 108, and I handle the stress much better with Lexapro or it's generic escitalopram.

Glad to hear Lexipro helped you as well Marie, I am so surprised at how calm I am while approaching my surgery tomorrow. And Max, thanks so much, I'm just hoping for more than ten... we will see! Haha

God bless you on this journey Garrett. I also had similar surgery at age 59 over 7 years ago. So far, so good.

Thank you all! The procedure was successful and they repaired my valve rather than replaced! Now to focus on recovery
