Jean Raber Galina, make sure you look FIRST at what your insurance covers. I'm in an HMO, would pay much more if I went to a hospital outside the system, and I am not in a financial position to pay the difference. These lists are great for people who can afford "the best." They may create unnecessary anxieties for those who can't. If you end up at a regional hospital as I will, try to get as much word-of-mouth info as you can. I have heard nothing but good things about my regional hospital.
