I had my surgery for mitral valve replacement and a by pass on Aug. 8th and although there is some discomfort yet I feel amazingly better. I do have maybe a weird problem since the surgery that I didn't see anyone say about... sometimes I can barely see because it looks like there is a film over them. It isn't all the time and it's usually one eye at time but it's a little scary, anyone else have this.

Sophia Ridley I can get funny eyes where I can't see everything clearly, usually precursor to an aura migraine. More often than not, it's low BP or I haven't eaten. Find pint of water and a banana helps.

Franklin Wyrick I'm two months post op now and my vision is back to normal, but for the first month I had vision problems and things were blurry and I had problems focusing. I read that this is not unusual. Gradually my vision got back to normal. I just saw my eye doc yesterday and all is well, 20/20 vision.

Kate Watson I had very blurry vision in the hospital and I now get eye strain 4 months post op, along with migraines with auras. It sounds like it's very common from what I've heard. But this reminds me I've been meaning to go to an eye dr and get them checked! It would probably be a good idea for you to do so.

Kevin Shackelford Not sure if this is a potential cause...but my doc told me that Amioderone can cause vision issues and wanted me to tritatate down from my current dosages next week. I have not experienced issues with vision yet, however.
