Has anyone found a medication to lower their heart rate that doesn't have bad side effects? I am on generic Coreg. Feel exhausted, weak muscles, constipated, cough. I am hoping to be able to eliminate medication completely at some point, but any input is welcome! Thanks!

My cardiologist stressed the importance of drinking lots of water while on beta blockers & I believe that is key. I drink a glass of water before taking & a big glass of water after & keep it up during the day- I also drink Gatorade - it's important to... Read more.

Agree, I drank tons of water.. but I can definitely see the difference being off the beta blocker. the world isn't so foggy now.. hopefully you will be off soon.

Thank you for your comments. I do drink a lot of water. So, I may need to try something else. Yes, definitely looking forward to being off of beta blocker. 😊
