Adam Pick Cynthia, Wow. So sorry about the terrible timing of all this. Take it step by step by step by step by step. Emphasis added in the "steps" so you do not overwhelm yourself with the process. I know many patients who have had surgery during COVID. Yes, it is more isolating. Yes, it is tough. Yes, you will have moments of frustration. Those are the statistics. This disease is a silent killer. You can do it. You can handle this. You got this Cynthia!!!

Hi Cynthia. These are very trying times for sure, and you having to go thru this at this time can be overwhelming. But as Adam says, take one step at a time. Make arrangements for visits from someone to check on you daily. Maybe in home support service. Make meals ahead of time and freeze them so all you have to do is warmed them up. Arrange with your insurance after care from when you go home. Read, stay in contact with friends and family via social media or the phone. Write letters. Play music you like. Try to keep slowly occupied. Be courageous and this too shall pass and you will be feeling better soon. God bless you
