I am 10 weeks post op from my 2nd aortic valve replacement surgery and just over the past few days from my chest down my right arm all the way to my fingers and some in my left hand just aches. Best way I can describe it. It hurts and... Read more.
Hi Catrina. I'm 11 weeks post op and I have soreness and pain in my upper arms. Biscep area. My left is worse. I was thinking maybe it's the way they have you positioned on the operating table. I hope it's not nerve damage. And the machine at rehab seems... Read more.
I had some pain in different areas after surgery. I'm 210 pounds, think they had a hard time sliding me off the operating table. After about 6 months all pain is gone, I don't remember now. I'm 13 months post-op and feeling great. Hang in there.
At least it's your right arm...less scary. It sounds like a pinched nerve in your neck. Especially because you say it's worse at night. Try using a cervical neck pillow for sleeping to restore the curve in your neck and open those discs. I personally would see a Chiropractor. Made... Read more.

The headaches finally stopped. They lasted about 2 weeks off and on. So grateful those appear to be over. They were AWFUL. Ive been in cardiac rehab now going on my 3rd week. It has been ok. Right now they have me doing the treadmill, stationary bike and another stationary... Read more.
Hi Catrina... I'm I. Phase 3 of rehab and I do treadmill and seated elliptical mostly.... I like going . I'm happy to hear you are feeling better and your headaches are gone! The rest will get better also.... Time heals. 💞

This was one week after I came home. Surgeon had to cut me higher this time to be able to get all the scar tissue. At this point it still had the glue holding it together. I'm a little past 5 weeks post op now. Scar looks better now.
