Hi everyone I'm arlene,3 mos post of Avr and mar I have a concern regarding numbness on my face scalp and even my tongue which I don't have before..I'm taking amiodarone 3 mos now as prescribe by my surgeon..I'm so down and low because of this symptoms,I have to kids... Read more.

Have you asked your doctor about this? I think they should be able to help. Also, I will pray for you!

I did Lora and my primary doctor ordered form mri..even asked my cardiologist and he put me on every week INr check..thank you much!

Arlene, I haven't had the numbness you describe, but will pray for a resolution. The only numbness I had was in my chest area, but it's mostly gone now 9 months later except for a few small spots. God bless you!

Arlene, I was on amiodarone 4-5 month after surgery in December and just came off. I didn't have numbness in my face...just in the right side and chest area where they went in. A good friend of mine is recovering from OHS and having some face numbness--they told him it... Read more.

Cheryl Batzing thank you for the info.my cardiologist said he will gonna stop my amiodarone as soon as my heart rhythm will back to normal cause I was on a fib before my surgery..are you taking metoprolol too?praying that this is just a cause of anesthesia..thank you for keeping me... Read more.

I thank God Cheryl cause a had a very successful surgery🙏 but all the things that I'm having right now makes me so worried but I know God will heal me.
