Richard Munson Sounds like another opinion is the word of the day and the mitra clip is a good idea. The ultimate decision is in the hands of the patient after weighing all the options. There are so many factors at 89 besides just the valve i imagine. Attitude is a biggy. General health of course. Alice sounds like a positive thinker or she would not be asking the questions. She is not ready to cash in her chips. Even at 99 betty white had a great attitude. When i go to the doctor and sit in the waiting room at 79 i see some folks that look and act 179 and then i hear them give their date of birth and i think, no way , they are in their 60’s. Go alice.
