Hello! I was wondering if anyone with severe aortic regurgitation, or who had it before an operation experiences symptoms of a very harsh, strong heartbeat? It's the only symptom i am getting but can be frustrating.

I had it with my mitral valve, especially when lying down for sleep. I believe others on here have said the same about the aortic valve.

Hi Phyllis, sounds like it's perhaps a common symptoms for aortic regurgitation then? I'm glad to hear i'm not the only one having these symptoms and that are related to my aortic regurgitation!

As you read more from the various people on here, you'll start seeing a lot of familiar stories and will hopefully feel a little more confidence going forward.
