About Me (In My Own Words)
My mother had rubella at pregnancy, thus, I was born with Aortic Pulmonary Stenosis. I have had three cardiocatheterizations in my life, 1954, 1959 and 2015. After the procedure last year, it was decided that I did not need surgery at the time. When I moved to Manchester, NH and got connected to my new Primary Care Physician, Dr. Muhammad Pasha at Elliot Senior Health Care, he immediately referred me to Dr. Patrick Hickle of Elliot Cardiovascular Consultants who determined that yes, indeed, the valve has become severely stenosed and that I need Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery.
I have my first consultation with Dr. Aranki scheduled for August 25, 2016.
The long and short of it is, this old man, just like old cars needs a valve job.
