Send Vicki a NoteAbout Me
I was diagnosed with moderate aortic stenosis in 2011. It was monitored yearly for a long time, switching to every 6 months last year. I have a BAV and my cardiologist says my recent echo suggest it is now severe. I don't feel any different, but decided to move ahead instead of waiting. I am scheduled for a heart cath on March 9th and will see what happens after that. My doc thinks I might be a candidate for TAVR. I would be interested to see if anyone else has any experience to share on that. Thanks!
5/21/2020 -- Had TAVR at Riverside Methodist/OhioHealth Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on 5/19 and came home yesterday. Feeling fine - only sore and a bit tired - no pain. So grateful and I have the best TAVR team. The hospital was fantastic.
