Trent's Profile

I am a 36 year old male looking at mitral valve repair in the upcoming future, we are still working to determine the exact date. I have a wonderful wife, Amanda, and two young boys, Riley and Jake. My family and friends are my life and I am actively making it a point to make sure that I acknowledge that fact on a daily basis. I am a private pilot, and we will see if I continue to do that after the surgery (not being negative, just realistic). I have read many instances of pilots that have had valve replacement/repair procedures and successfully cleared there medicals. So I am hopeful for that, but honestly that is low on the priority list at this point in time. I am very anxious to get this show on the road and get this behind me. Reading everyone's own experiences does help me understand the process and makes me feel that I am entering this with at least a small amount of vision into what the future holds. I wish everyone that is readying this and going through this process the best. Trent
