In November of 2020 during my annual exam I was told by my primary that he hears a heart murmur and referred me to a cardiologist where i was i later diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve with a aortic root aneurysm that has to monitored every 6 months for the next few days and will one day require surgery. A year and a half later in june of 2022 I was told its time for surgery. Surgery is scheduled for August 25th (three weeks from now)I'm terrified. Never had surgery before
