Steve's Profile

I am an endurance athlete. I've ridden thousands of miles over mountain passes, flatlands and off road trails that require steadfast determination, laser focus and a desire to suffer to benefit both my mind and body. I know my body and I know my heart so when I listened to the signs, I was fortunate enough to be lead to Dr. Eric Roselli at the Cleveland Clinic by God. My cardiologist diagnosed a bicuspid aortic valve with severe aortic regurgitation and an aortic aneurysm. I met with Dr. Roselli and he immediately made me feel more at ease than the Aorta Specialist I met with in San Antonio. He was, confident, descriptive but most important, humble in his demeanor. Four months later, surgery was a success and I am back lifting, riding and enjoying life with a new found appreciation for how precious like truly is.
