Send Sandra a NoteAbout Me
I have a congeenital Aortic valve Bicusp that was stable for 56 years and then in March 2013 I became symptomatic. My echo showed severe stenosis . I went to Penn in Phili for a consultation, cardiac cath then AVR surgery April 9th. unfortunately I contracted a culture negative endocarditis that was not identified until the valve was ruined, August 8th I had another surgery, a debriedment of the heart and another replacement. I received IV antibiotics for the next 5 weeks. I now have a human aortic valve.
