Send Richard a NoteAbout Me
It was first recommended to have an aortic valve replacement with tissue valve as well as coronary bypass surgery (full sternotomy).
A second opinion from the Cleveland Clinic recommended a aortic value replacement with tissue value (minimally invasive), and stated that there was no need for bypass surgery this time because blockage were only 30 to 50%.
I had my AVR surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on August 16, 2017. My surgeon was Jose Navia.
My experience at the Cleveland Clinic was great.
Now, over three years from my surgery have passed, and I have had zero complications, etc.
