I was diagnosed with a biscuspid aortic valve 18 months ago and was just waiting until it got severe enough that the surgeon said it was time. Well that time has arrived! I have just 6 days to wait now and I must say I am sick of thinking about it and just ready for it to be over and move on! I am 63 years old and am planning on getting a tissue valve. That was a mind boggling decision.
