About Me

I was diagnosed with a bi-cuspid aortic valve and an ascending aortic aneurysm at age 38. At age 72 I needed to have the valve replaced because it had become severely calcified. Due to my age and as well as other serious health issues it was decided that a TAVR would be the best choice for me at this time. Note: My aneurysm is considered relatively stable at this time.
