I had a mitral valve replacement and aortic membrane laying underneath the aortic valve unfortunately it was miss represented. I was told there was no membrane and that it look like a bulge so there was nothing done with the aortic. Its been 2 yrs since my surgery. I moved to Tennessee and recieving care out here. I got in trouble I September of 2018 developing congested heart failure, was told that that bulge is causing an obstruction of blood flow thru aortic valve. My lungs are compromised and I need to make a decision to go thru surgery for the 3rd time. I have 2 options : kono procedure Or Heart transplant...... the odds are against but I'm optimistic.!!
