Send Linda a GuestbookAbout Me
I'm Linda, almost 63, diagnosed several years ago with mild to moderate aortic stenosis. At the time of diagnosis my husband was fighting metastatic prostate cancer, so my prayer was that my condition would not prevent my taking care of him. He passed away 2 years ago and my stenosis has progressed to the point that it is now time for surgery. I also have a dilated ascending aorta which may be repaired. I am in the process of deciding where to go for my surgery. I live in South Carolina and my hope is to go to Cleveland Clinic. I should know more in the next few days as I am getting all my records to send for review. I'm really nervous, had hoped this day would never come, but as a friend said to me, "just am glad I can have surgery" I'm wondering how many people have flown long distances for surgery and their experience flying home after surgery. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Well that's about it...for now.
