About Me (In My Own Words)
I fell very ill in July 2004. I was 21 at the time. Passed out at work and woke up in the hospital to the news of needing a valve replacement. My surgeon said I needed surgery right away but I didn't have insurance. I was finally approved through the State in October 2004 and called Monday morning to inform them of my insurance and I was on the table for a ROSS Procedure Wednesday morning.
2020..as if this year hasn't given us enough. I've been feeling very fatigued, palpitations, some swelling. After a few test my New Dr. Has informed me I will be needing another Aortic replacement. I will be going to Oklahoma Heart Hospital next week for an angiogram and EET and then I will meet my surgeon.
