I really enjoy being in the great outdoors. Primarily, kayaking and backpacking. Really never had any difficulty doing these activities and with some effort have always been able to keep up with my much younger hiking partners. So, I was surprised when during my routine primary care Dr. visit in Nov. 2020 he told me I have a murmur. I was referred to a cardiologist for an Echocardiogram. Next, a CT Scan w/contrast and TEE. Heart surgeon enters the picture.....Surgery determined necessary. But first. Another test. Heart Cath. showing some blockage. Date for surgery March 4th.
