About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with very severe mitral valve regurgitation. The doctor told me mine was "as bad as it gets". I have had the issue my entire life, I am 47, but progressively got worse. I had mitral valve repair surgery on 4/16/19. It definitely has not been easy and there have been many ups and downs post surgery. The doctors seem happy but I still have mild MR. Hopefully things will not change.
