I was born with Truncus Arteriosis and a bicuspid aorta. I had my first three open heart surgeries for Truncus before I was 12 years old, the first one at 6 months old. Now, at 37 my 4th surgery is tentative for the fall of this year. This will be to finally replace my bicuspid aorta and replace my pulmonary valve. I'm just curious, is there anyone else that's undergone heart surgery these days and any advice? It's been so long since my last I'm not sure what to expect. Especially, since this is #4 for me! :)
