Hi, I'm a 35 year old male. I was diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm in July 2015 (5.5cm). On September 17, Dr. Allan Stewart at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York performed a David procedure to replace my aortic root while saving my aortic valve. It's been just under 3 weeks and I'm recovering well.
