I am 47 years old and about 6 months ago my doctor heard a heart murmur. After sending me to a Cardiologist I was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve and an Aorta Root size of 4.8. I have had lot's of tests (TEE, Echo, CT, Angiogram, etc) and now I will be visiting a surgeon here in Los Angeles to discuss my options for aortic value replacement. I'm going into this with a good attitude and look forward to having my heart and my body working great again.
