Diagnosed with mild-to-moderate AVR 15ish years ago. Over time it became moderate, moderate-to-severe, severe, and finally severe with symptoms. In prep for the atrial valve replacement surgery, the team discovered a need to also repair the mitral valve and to perform a septal myectomy. All three were successfully completed on 1/28/2026.
