After a "perfect physical" I mentioned my dad's history to my DR (leaking valve). He suggested an ECHO just to be safe. ECHO revealed not a leak, but a large aneurysm that needed immediate attention. Location of the aneurysm also required aortic valve replacement. Had a Bentall procedure using a mechanical valve. 57 years old.
