About Me

At 55, I was diagnosed with genetic bicuspid valve disease. I had the Ross Procedure. It is 4 years ago. Cons... I tend to have some palpitations that come and go, muscle soreness in my upper body likely due to the nature of my work, and my echo says that I have some hypertrophy placing me in a diastolic dysfunction category. The latter scenario worries me most. Pros...I do not take any meds other than a baby aspirin and a mild water pill. I can continue working as a PTA and PT singer, and enjoy my tennis addiction. I am truly grateful to doctor Paul Stelzer who was amazing and made me feel very confident.
