Send David a NoteAbout Me
Male 67. Was presenting with worsening SOB and slight angina. Under a watchful eye of my cardiologist for 2 years. Recent angio, CT scan, heart cath paved way for AVR. Given age and bucuspid stenosis SAVR was the surgery of choice. Replaced aortic valve with Edwards Empris 27 mm bioprothesis bovine valve. Valve is state of the art, treated to retard stenosis / calcification, and expandable to accommodate a future TAVR if needed. Recovery is tedious, pain free and progression is slow and sure. So far, a flawless experience.
