About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with a BAV a few years ago after my father found to have one as well. I'm now 39 and after normal monitoring, I have recently found out my valve has gotten worse and replacement will be needed. During my research of options, I found heartvalvesurgery and this website has been a huge blessing for information gathering. I will be undergoing The Ross procedure on March 4th with Dr Malaisrie and thus website / information support was a huge help in this process! Thanks
