Waiting for mitral valve repair after discovering I have myxomatous mitral valve (Barlow's valve) which is regurgitating severely and has already caused some heart damage (dilated left ventricle and low ejection fraction). Otherwise asymptomatic, healthy, active, 39-year-old mom of 2.
