I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve.....about 2 months ago I had a routine echo.....they discovered regurgitation and stenosis.....3 weeks later they discovered the aortic aneurysm that measured 4.6 cm. I will be going in on 10/9/2017 for a esophageal scope so the doctor can look at the mitral valve....then they will schedule my surgery to put in a mechanical valve and graft over the aneurysm on my ascending aorta.
