I've been followed for my many Marfan syndrome issues over the past 40 years. This became more emotional in recent years as both my father and younger brother were taken by aortic aneurysm. Now at age 55, it was finally time to fix that Aorta… it turned out that my aneurysm which has been stable for years, grew significantly over the last 6 months. I had an open heart surgery done by Dr. Girardi, at NYC's Weill Cornell, on July 16 2018. I'm still kicking!!!!! I was truly surprised to wake up after the surgery... So, Now what…?
