That was a full sternotomy too. Had a great surgeon.😋

Peggy,,,,,,,,,has anyone ever suggested any form of topical product(tea tree oil etc etc) to make the incision more pleasing to the eye as time clips by??? ,,,,,,,,Barry

Why do I need it my scar is fading

I thought you had minimally invasive surgery?

Joanna....I was suppose to have, but he had to do full sternotomy because my heart was small and have small chest. My scar is 7inches instead of being 4 inches. Things changed in surgery.

When is the heart walk? Is it downtown or someplace else like forest park?

The heart walk is on May 14 will start at Bush stadium St Louis, gates open 7:30 and walk begins 9am..it is sponsored by the American heart association
