Me and my wonderful husband. I would never have got through this without him being by my side. He is my rock and I love him to the moon and back. 💘💝
I did get to meet a sealion whilst away. Another dream to tick off my bucket list 😊
My husband took me on a lovely relaxing holiday, where I did absolutely nothing for two weeks. It was heaven.
This was a special sticker made for me by the physiotherapista on ICU. I was often bribed to do more by the nurse and this was when I stood up and was awarded not only this badge but a speaking valve for my trachy!
Finally had a well needed haircut since well before surgery in May...in fact it was more likely last year before I nursed my father. A new haircut for a new improved me! 😊
The trachy incision now almost healed. Hooray! Just have to wait for my voice to return although I can speak it's very hoarse and quiet.
Same view taken during the day. Lovely watching the boats go up and down the Thames.
View from the 8th floor after being moved to the ward after 3 weeks in ICU. The sunset was amazing. The photo does no justice but I was on bed rest and couldn't get any closer 😣
Hospital bed view. (5th floor)
Just hope I'm on the same side when in recovery!
My new reversible cushions for the new recliners ☺
