Joseph Brown  Thank you Lord, Thank you Kathy, my wife and Thank you Drs. Heimansohn and Hermiller at St. Vincent's Cardiac Hospital. The TAVR these guys and their team pulled off was a miracle. No pain, no problems and I was home a day later. I knew I had a bad aortic valve, but it showed borderline severe after a heart cath. I live in Florida, but was in Indianapolis for cancer treatments (multiple myeloma, a blood cancer). The treatments put me way into severe aortic problems and except for a prompt and professional EMS group I would be dead. The Good Dr H's so 3-6 TAVRS every Tuesday. They spoke to my oncologist who made them aware of the need to continue my cancer treatment. Their team was on it and got all my testing done in a few weeks. The operation was a breeze. I'm back in Florida sitting on the Lanai truly having a Happy Thanksgiving...I wish the same to all of you. If you need it done, find a good TAVR team and hospital, say your prayers and go for it. I've had a lot of operations and this was the easiest.
