Today marks one year and 8 days since my AVR operation. I feel blessed that so many people have supported me during these challenging times. For people preparing for such an operation, I will tell you this; time will heal everything. You have to be patie

9 months post surgery and I am feeling superb!
I have lost 9kg of fat and gained muscle. My INR levels are stable and I got through a dentist session yesterday!
I workout 5 times per week and walk 10K steps per day. Never give up and always remembe

Hey Harris. Thanks for the advice on workouts. I'm apparently still a year away from surgery with my own bicuspid Aortic valve and aneurysm but I still had those questions regarding getting back to exercise and the use of weights. Keep safe on your return to a full routine.
Randall you will need time to get used to the clicking sound, louder than normal heart beats and ofcourse the healing of your thoracic bone. I am almost 10 months post surgery so you will have to wait. I guess it's something we have to be patient and believe that... Read more.
