Still alive. "Toro", the bovine aortic heart valve is STRONG LIKE BULL and is now 11 years old. Aortic aneurism hasn't gotten any worse, so still monitoring that. Getting old. 61 now. Mom's in assisted living facility on hospice. She's 89 now. Weather will be in the 70s here in LA next week---it'll be tough, but should be survivable. Other than that. Nothing special to report. Until next year. C ya!

My roommate, Dan has started doing metal working as a hobby. He gave this to me to celebrate my one year anniversary of my surgery. He put a weld on back that's pretty similar to my chest scar. :)
