Though i had lot of anxious on the procedure and wait time, the procedure went well. I had little pain on the cut and test last just for 15-20 mins.
And the good news is my arteries are in condition.

TEJUMURTHY NANJEGOWDA But the preparation and recovery takes around 7-8 hours

Hello Teju. I want to wish you well in your upcoming surgery and tell you to go in feeling confident with your team of Dr.'s and that you will come out feeling so happy that it is over and ready to face the future with optimism and Joy. Take care to be kind to your nurses and techs. as they will treat you well and help you through all you need. Be patient with yourself as well as being so young I am sure you will be recovering faster than some of us older patients(I am 65) and running circles around the nurses station in no time. Look forward to your future young Man as it shines brilliantly! take care and funny thing. One of your last memories will be of your surgeon smiling down at you with a big thumbs up and off you will go! -Terrie

Terrie Syvertsen Really important Teju. When you are at the most important moment before surgery you really want to focus on something, a memory of something that has great meaning to you and your heart! My memory taken was a photo of my husband and I on the lake kayaking as it painted the sweet picture of the future and what joy is going to be in front of you once your heart has been mended.(Look at my photos and you will see the images I am speaking of. It was the last beautiful thing I remembered, the beautiful lake and the park with my husband as I faded off with I know a great big smile on my face! I bet with all my heart that you have something within you to send that focus on and believe me it will bring you great peace at the moment you want it! Yes I have done good amount of research on my condition and possible options for surgery. Hoping to get a mechanical valve.. but not able to finalize on which brand .. either St.Jude or On-x.. Little tensed but trying to be calm and strong..

I'm just counting days to get this fixed.. Little tensed and not realy able to make a final call on either a On-x or St.Jude Mech. valve.. It would help if you can brief on your choice of valve?
