Hi Russ. My OHS was October 30. Dr Hermiller was the person I went through to see 1st and the surgeon was Moainie. Dr H is very caring. Most of the nurses are great! Prayers.

Thank you for the note. I have now had my surgery. I got in as an experimental Intermediate severity case. They are looking for healthier subjects. Until now, they would do only OHS. I'm telling you, this is the way to go. I've edited my story to show how much... Read more.

Me too as the valve I've got is good for 10-12 years and hope to live a wee bit more than that God willing.

Hi Russ I think you're in good hands they've perfected that technique in the past couple of years to the point where it is going to be the procedure of choice I only wish I could have had it even though the other more traditional surgery wasn't that bad

Thanks for the note Clayton. You need to read my updated story and compare it with what you went through. The doctors were even surprised at well the surgery went. I was in OR for 45 minutes or less. Absolute no pain.
