Nik, sending grace and peace your way. I'm sorry for all of the troubles you are experiencing. I agree with everyone here that you are not alone. We all have our circling thoughts and some days are great and others are full of worry or fear. We support you... You can do this. Keep posting, expressing your thoughts, verbalizing your fears, so that they escape your mind and lose their power.

Dear Nik, how are you? Your feelings are well understood here on this site. You have been through a lot! Please know that you are not alone.. You can do this! You have been through so much, you are strong enough to make this decision and go through it all. I hope you will find the right solution regarding surgeon and hospital, I know it is not easy to do that in Bosnia.
Reaching out to us was great first step and I am sure it will relieve some of the anxiety you feel. Take one step at the time. Read the stories here, we have so many inspirational heart gladiators (as we call them) here, I.e. people with very difficult life paths but extraordinary will and strength... This lovely community is here to listen and to offer support to one another .
I had emergency open heart surgery over two years ago . I have a St.Jude’s  mitral valve ( a mechanical valve ) and take warfarin daily .
I eat what I like and have plenty of green leafy veg and salad . 
I have my I n r checked 10 weekly now .
I have no problem listening to music or living my life in a “ normal “ way . 
luckily , life goes on and I am very glad and grateful to be alive . 
The way you are feeling now , it will pass . You are allowed to have a multitude of emotions , that is normal and we are here to listen if you need us .
