Hi Mark! I can't imagine how scary that all was then not getting properly diagnosed at first. I love that you are doing so well. I too am planning to do rehab. Think I'll take it easy on the running though! Lol. All the best for your continued recovery!

Finally back running about 5km every few days. My heart rate gets up to about 155 (my max rate is 164). Not sure if that is too high with a bioprosthetic heart valve. I've gotten contradictory answers from several cardiologists.

Yeah! I remember the first time my doctor told me I could slowly begin to run.

Not breaking any records....the first time I ran my daughter ran with me and made me keep my heart rate under 150.
