Kristin- I was referred to Dr. Murphy at Emory St Joseph's for robotic mitral valve repair. I don't know if he is retired but Dr. Halkos is at same campus and does robotic repair. My mitral valve is doing great, but my aortic aneurysms were not addressed in my initial... Read more.

Hi Kristin - The big existential question you will need to answer for yourself is "to robot or not to robot." Plusses and minuses to the options. Generally, robotic surgeries take longer.
