Hello, glad that you are doing well, I had the same procedure as you, but , I had my Mitral valve replaced. Are you still on Warfarin ?

Hi Steve, and thanks for the well wishes. I was never on Warfarin. I chose a tissue valve in order to avoid having to take it because of all the negative things I'd heard and read about it. They have me on 325 mg of aspirin, which is much better.... Read more.

Thanks for the info, I probably be looking for an 2nd opinion from another Cardiologist. One told me that I will be on warfarin for the rest of my life. I've heard about the side effects. I too have a tissue valve. Take care brother...
