HI KATHLEEN JUST A FEW COMMENTS I HAVE A CLOSE FRIEND WHO I TAKE TO BREAKFAST ONCE A MONTH WHO HAS A PACEMAKER DEFIBRILLATOR AND HAS HAD IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS HE IS 93 AND GETS AROUND VERY WELL HE TOLD ME THE ONLY TIME IT BOTHERS HIM IS WHEN IT GOES OFF IT GIVES HIM A REAL JOLT AND SCARES ANYONE AROUND HIM BUT HE MAKES OUT FINE WITH IT I WISH YOU THE BEST BY THE WAY ARE YOU RELATED TO GILBERT AND JANE McCLUNG THEY ARE MY COUSINS ALL MY LOVE AND PRAYERS YOUR HEART BROTHER STEVE (POPEYE)

Hi Kathleen. Just read your story. It is disappointing that this new issue has come up after such seemingly good progress. You have a good attitude though, and hopefully this is something that is easily corrected. Wishing the best for you.

Best of luck to you tomorrow Kathleen. I pray that your surgery goes smoothly. Just think of that beautiful family of yours while you are going into surgery and smile just knowing that you have those adorable faces to get back to. They truly are adorable. Good Luck!!!

Kathleen- Five immediate things come to mind this morning as I see you are ready tomorrow for the "big day"! Big day in that all of the worry will soon be a thing of the past and you will have moved forward into what this wonderful life has to offer with your beautiful children there to keep you on your toes! I realize that you are scared as all of us needing our hearts mended have been before you. But please take the love and prayers from those that love you and those of us here who are your heart brothers and sisters to "heart" and believe us when we tell you we will be with you on this special day and here to cheer you on during your recovery. It is going to be worth it and a repaired heart is going to give you the strength to face whatever lies ahead for you and your Family. You are going to be surprised at the strength and determination you possess and the love and faith you have within will also fill your heart and get you through this surgery. Please believe this, believe in yourself and your surgical Team who will do everything within their power to do their jobs well and meet your every need at every turn of the days ahead. I am looking forward to hearing that you are in recovery and sharing your journey with the rest of us who will be out here in your community to help and support in every way we can. Take care!
