John I did not see what valve you received a mech.or tissue valve.I had a tissue valve put in 2010 at 67 and now at 76 I still work out 6 days a week.I wish people on this site would tell what valve they have and why they chose it.I... Read more.

Hi Peter, I had the "Edwards Inspire Resila Aortic Replacement Tissue Valve" This is the newest type of Tissue valve out today that was just approved for use in 2018. It is supposed to last much longer than other tissue valves on the market today because of it's anti-calcification materials... Read more.
