Shae, give me a heads up when you will be needing additional workup. You being the survivor also of a valve replacement will do fine. I think the steps we all went through has made us stronger individuals. Thanks you for your wonderful words of encouragement and vibes.

I will be having aortic valve replacement by the end of the year. I have no CAD. I do have some confusion on my knowledge of echos and bicuspid valves. I thought this congenital condition made itself known at a young age. I am 67 and my murmur was discovered... Read more.

Wait for your TEE. It is a better picture than an echocardiogram. They can definitely view if the valve is due for repair or replacement and they can pinpoint which valve also.
