Hi George. They recommended bioprosthetic for aortic and mitral valves and a ring for the tricuspid. My case is a little different in that my valve damage is due to radiation therapy I had in 1984. It is a difficult decision. I think multiple opinions are helpful and you will... Read more.

George sorry I just saw your message today. My surgery in October is to repair the aortic aneurysm I have. I am not having my bicuspid valve replaced this time. It is in pretty good shape so I have some time with that.
